One of My Favorite New Etsy Shops!

I ordered these fun, original cards from www.ennaneve.etsy.com and I LOVE them!

Becky of Ennaneve is a teammate of mine on Amazing Carolina Etsians (ACE team). She creates tags, cards and stickers from original prints and her style is wonderfully fresh and original, but with a touch of vintage. Just look at the fun bags that she makes by hand to keep your goodies in. Even her mailing envelopes are unique and handmade.

KAFFE FASSETT CRAZY

Yes, I think I have determined that I am Kaffe crazy! I seem to gravitate towards his fabrics. Something about the randomness of design and riot of color is so cheerful and appealing to me. I had tons of small strips and scraps left over from my "S" quilt and decided to sit down and crazy patch them together in kind of a wonky log cabin pattern. This is what I came up with! I padded the handle on this laptop bag and made it extra roomy to accommodate a larger laptop. I also added an interior pocket for my charger. I love it!

BEAUTIFUL RINGS FROM THE TAFFY BOX

Look what I found when browsing for items to put in my "the ties that bind" Treasury. I loved these so much that I had to order some for myself. I had been wanting silver bands to wear on my thumb and these are available in custom sizes from www.thetaffybox.etsy.com.
The beautiful customization is what sold me! Koryn the shop owner was wonderful to work with and offers several different fonts and decorative icons to make these rings so special!

I'M CLEANING OUT MY FABRIC STASH

Ok, so I know all of us have tons of crafting supplies around the house. I've heard tales of fabric bolts lining stairwells, under beds (maybe on top of them?). Anyway, I have finally reached my limit and am ready to part with a large amount of fabric. I am putting it all in my etsy shop www.karolsvintageart.etsy.com under the destash sale category and pricing it at my cost.

Please do not restrain yourselves:)

That 70's Thing Treasury

This is the latest Treasury that I created featuring vintage finds from the 1970's...

What an amazing collection of memorabilia. In the process of creating this, I have come across some wonderful vintage shops that you must check out!

Please see the shop titles under the photos for each item.

One special shop-owner Adrien Lucas of www.Vintagestew.etsy.com has graciously and patiently guided me through the process of uploading the graphics above. You must visit her wonderful vintage shop featuring impeccable clothing from years past at incredible prices! She has also a wonderful blog:www.vintagestew.blogspot.com.

That's My House Quilt

The idea for this quilt was conceived when struggling to come up with a meaningful gift for a friend's birthday. Having spent many wonderful evenings in her home, I thought about what an important part our homes play in our lives. Warm, welcoming, loving, nurturing, they are a reflection of who we are and what is important to us.

I am hoping to create many more of these quilts for others as the years go by (although I am stopping at my current house after having moved 9 times in the last 17 years!).

AH, THE 70'S

Ok, so I'm dating myself just a little, but when I saw this fabric, I just had to have it because of it's name "1974". I did some research on the songs for that exact year (read my description in the etsy listing http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26454755) and then I was back in that year. I loved Jim Croce, Stevie Wonder and Elton John (saw him in concert back in the 80's). My son has converted me to "Indie" music now, some of which have lyrics amazingly similar to those here.
