What Beauty Surrounds Us!

That is gorgeous! Maybe one day we'll have a tree like that in our neighborhood...about 15 years from now! That's one thing that stinks about new construction!

My Blog Title

Well, hello! Welcome! I've been missing from this blog for a very long time. I've experienced a few bumps in the road that kept me from creating, but I'm back!!! I'm starting my new, adventurous life now and hoping share some of the things that inspire, encourage and continue to make me sing.

The name of my blog came from the compilation of two quotes that I love. The first by Ella Fitzgerald "The only thing better than singing is more singing" and the second by Andrew Wyeth "I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious"

I also dream a lot and I do believe that through our subconscious mind we get glimpses into areas of our souls that we cannot see when we are awake. Often those glimpses inspire me to create something that expresses an emotion that rises to the forefront of my everyday thought. As the day progresses, it becomes clear what exactly it is that I need to say and then, I'm off and running...

Music inspires me and I love to sing. The physical act of singing brings peace to my soul and listening to others sing brings me joy. I am surrounded by music every day and I do believe it encourages my creativity.

Thus the title...I'm singing my dreams.
